This week’s driving force was the intense heat. We managed very nicely though, staying under the shade of the big ash tree and playing in the sprinklers. Yesterday Mia and I were blessed to be in the presence of what Joan Almon, director of the Alliance for Childhood refers to as “the hum of play”. Both inside and outside play was a picture of harmony, fruitful social interactions and rich imaginative collaborations.

It’s hard to believe but we are looking forward to our last week of Summer Session next week. We will welcome two new friends and have said goodbye to others. See you then!
